Booking, payment, rescheduling, weather, delivery, and who owns the media. Written to be read, not to be survived.
Agreement
These terms apply when you book a shoot with Villa Views or use this website. Booking a shoot means you accept them. If something here does not work for your situation, talk to us before you book rather than after.
Booking
Shoots are booked through our client portal at portal.villaviews.co. Your booking confirmation shows the property address, appointment time, and the services ordered. If any of that is wrong, tell us before the appointment.
Pricing and payment
Prices are as listed on this website or as quoted for your job. Payment is due after the shoot is completed, and media is released for download once the invoice is paid and the license acknowledgement is accepted. If you need time before paying, the media simply waits for you in the portal.
Properties outside our core service zone carry a flat travel fee of $1 per mile from Waynesboro, confirmed before the appointment is placed on the calendar. See our service area.
Pay at Close is available as an alternative, with $0 due at booking and repayment from commission at closing. Financing is provided by Titus and is governed by their agreement with you, not by these terms.
Rescheduling and cancellation
You can reschedule or cancel your own appointment in the client portal up to two hours before the scheduled start time. There is no fee to reschedule and no fee to cancel. Things come up, and we would rather move an appointment than have you sit on a booking that no longer works.
If you need to change something inside that two-hour window, call us at (540) 321-0201 rather than emailing, since we may already be on the road.
Weather
Drone flights, twilight sessions, and exterior photography depend on conditions we do not control. When weather prevents us from shooting, we reschedule the appointment to the next workable window at no additional charge. We would rather move a shoot than deliver exteriors that undersell the property.
Access and property preparation
You are responsible for arranging access to the property at the scheduled time and for having it ready to photograph. We photograph the property as we find it. Light staging and tidying are part of the job; moving furniture, cleaning, or waiting for a property to be made ready are not, and may require rescheduling.

Delivery
Standard turnaround is 24 hours from the shoot, with same-day available at checkout. Media is delivered through the client portal, edited and sized for MLS use.
If something is not right
Tell us. If the media has a problem we can fix in editing, we will re-edit it. If it needs to be shot again, we will reshoot it. Our fees are not refundable, because the work has been performed either way, but we will make the result right.
Drone operations
All drone work is flown under FAA Part 107 certification and within the rules that apply at that location on that day. Airspace restrictions, controlled airspace near airports, temporary flight restrictions, and weather can all make a flight impossible. Where that happens we will tell you and will not charge for aerial work we could not perform.
Rights and use of the media
Villa Views retains all intellectual property rights in the photographs and media we produce. What you receive is a license to use them to market the property, for as long as you represent it. The license does not transfer to another agent, and modifying the delivered files is prohibited.
The full terms, including what happens when a listing changes hands, are on our Photo Rights & Licensing page, and the operative license is shown to you in the portal before you download. Short-term rental and commercial use requires a separate commercial license.
We may use the media we create in our own portfolio and marketing. If you would prefer a particular property not be used that way, tell us and we will honor it.
Your responsibilities
- You confirm you have the authority to have the property photographed.
- You will not resell, sublicense, or transfer the media to anyone else.
- You will not edit, alter, or run the delivered files through AI enhancement, including virtual staging, twilight conversion, sky swaps, and property line overlays. We offer all of these as services.
- You will secure pets and ask occupants to step out of frame during the session.
Limitation of liability
We carry out every job with professional care. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost sales, lost commission, or delays in a listing going live.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in effect when you book is the one that applies to that booking, and the current version is always posted here with its effective date.
